Hack the Holidays | Hack #6: Pregame with Protein
A tough part of sticking to a regimen on Thanksgiving Day is Last Supper Syndrome: fear of missing out on once-per-year foods (stuffing, most importantly) that causes you to eat 2X just to make sure you’re satisfied.
If you’re really committed to the end goal this year, drink a protein shake 30 mins before showing up to dinner. A small protein shake will get you nicely to half-way satisfied while leaving room for just enough yam and gravy, too.
Avoid regret-fullness by taking control of your appetite into your own hands.
